Eco Retreat Village is an upcoming village farm stay concept located in the tranquil hill station of Kattadippadam, Ramakkalmedu, Idukki, Kerala. We are currently developing our farm, which will consist of cows, goats, hens, rabbits, ducks, horses, and dogs, on 2.5 acres of land situated in one of Asia’s windiest parts. The location, 3400 ft above sea level, is surrounded by windmills, making it a unique and picturesque destination for nature lovers.

As part of our development, we are currently providing tent camping for nature enthusiasts who want to live amidst nature. At present, we can accommodate up to 35 people by providing tents, beds, and sleeping bags or blankets. Our guests can enjoy a variety of activities, including off-roading, hiking, village tours, and walks. In addition, we offer music with karaoke, campfires, and the chance to watch the activities of our cow farm. Guests can also enjoy village cricket, football, and swimming in a natural pool. We allow our guests to cook for themselves in the kitchen if they’re interested, but it should be informed at the time of booking.

We offer a range of amenities, including sleeping bags and blankets, bed and pillows, emergency lamps, first aid kits, drinking water, and washroom toilets for camps/tents. Our camp is accessible via a 500m normal off-road, which is suitable for all vehicles.

We are located close to several popular tourist attractions, such as Ramakkalmedu (5km), Amakkalmedu Jeep Offroading (jeep will take the guests from the campsite. 2000rs/jeep for a trip. 8 members are allowed in a jeep), Kuravan Kurathi Statue, Malamuzhakki Vezhambal viewpoint, Thooval waterfalls (30km), and vineyard at Cumbum, Tamil Nadu (22km). Our nearest town is Thookupalam (4 km), and we are 15 km from Nedumkandam, 22 km from Kattappana, and 22 km from Cumbum.

Our per-head rates are competitive, making us a budget-friendly option for travelers. We charge Rs. 1,400/head up to 15 members and Rs. 1,200/head for more than 15 guests. This includes tea at the time of check-in, non-veg dinner, tent accommodation, and veg Kerala-style breakfast.
